Born in Middlesex, my varied career has taken me across the world and given me a wealth of experiences, for which I am grateful. I have two grown up children who I adore, who have been my greatest teachers.

I love working with people and supporting them with their emotional needs. I am passionate about enabling people to achieve a greater understanding of themselves and their relationship with others.

My interest in supporting people was sparked in my early career as a Nurse and Residential Social Worker. When my children were growing up I ran mother & toddler groups, and assisted in pre-play school groups and at the school my children attended.

I have been involved with self-development of both myself and others for over 30 years. I I have attended and led self-development groups in California, Israel, Holland, India, London and the West Country.

Once my children were older I trained as a Relate Counsellor and worked for Relate for 22 years.

I am also a trained Relate Group Leader, Family Counsellor and Therapeutic Mediator. I share a Group Practice in Somerset with six other practitioners called Relationship Somerset. I run my own practice from the Health & Wellbeing Centre in Axminster, where I am also Director and Chair of the Trustees.

I spend my spare time walking, gardening, reading and listening to music. I have a thirst for knowledge and learning about the world, and my greatest pleasure comes from nurturing my own relationships with those who I love.
